Proving Ground will be added into Matchmaking on Monday’s update. This playlist will replace Team Throwdown as the “competitive-style” playlist, featuring updated settings, BR as the starting weapon and removed Armor Abilities & Ordnance. This playlist is here for the foreseeable future, and feedback will be monitored, so that it can be improved and adjusted over the coming weeks. The maps to be featured in this playlist initially are:
SecretSchnitzel‘s Forge-built map “Orion” is a map making it’s debut in Halo 4 matchmaking in this new playlist, see the below images to get a feel for the map!
The winner of last week’s Community Choice poll was Extraction; as a result, Proving Ground will feature both Slayer and Extraction modes at launch, with a view for more to be added in the weeks that follow.
Extraction will also be arriving into matchmaking on Monday as the featured playlist for the next two weeks!
That’s all for this week! Check out the most recent Halo Bulletin for a Skyline-themed Screenshot Spotlight and an interview with RJ Ranola, a Senior Environment Artist for Halo, in order to shed some light on what is involved in the currently available position of Environment Artist at 343i.
Until next week!
