After an unfortunate leak, Activision and Sledgehammer have officially announced the next installment in the Call of Duty franchise, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Advanced Warfare will be the first Call of Duty game developed by Sledgehammer Games and is also the first installment in Call of Duty’s three year development cycle.
Advanced Warfare seems to be taking a stronger take on narrative this time around. An assumption that has some serious backing as Sledgehammer has commissioned none other than Kevin Spacey (House of Cards) as the role of a possible antagonist. His presence certainly adds a sense of character that has always been absent from the franchise, and hopefully leads to more of a merger between big name actors and video games in general.
How do you feel about this new trailer? Does it impress or does it look like the same old Call of Duty?
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is set to release on November 4, 2014.
