After many weeks of bug fixing, Minecraft for Xbox One will finally hit Live on September 5th. Minecraft XBO will feature everything that the 360 Edition did, with the addition of:
- Bigger worlds with faster draw times and bigger draw distances
- Support for 1080p at 60 FPS
- The ability to transfer saved worlds from your 360 to the XBO, along with skin and texture packs.
This version has been facing issues getting released, mostly with bugs. Sony turned down the title for certification on both Vita and PS4 at least once, and Microsoft only recently returned a positive answer to 4J Studios.
As we’ve mentioned before, the price will be the standard $20 USD if you’ve never purchased the game on your Live account, and only $4.99 if you already own it in either physical or digital form.
