Earlier this month Bonnie Ross, the head of 343 Industries, promised to make things right for the issues plaguing Halo: The Master Chief Collection. On top of fixing the issues with the game, an additional apology was promised to help make things right.
Now we know how 343 Industries intends to make things right with fans.
First off 343 Industries is giving everyone who played Halo: MCC between November 11th, and December 19th:
- An Exclusive In-Game Nameplate for Halo: MCC
- An Exclusive In-Game Avatar for Halo: MCC
- One Month of Xbox Live Time
However, that’s not all 343 Industries has in store to make things right.
Production has begun on a Halo 3: ODST Campaign Expansion for Halo: MCC. Halo 3: ODST will be experiencing the same treatment as Halo 3 and 4, with upgraded resolution to 1080p and increased framerate to 60fps. This expansion to the game will be free for anyone who played the game between November 11th, and December 19th.
In addition to Halo 3: ODST Campaign, 343i, in cooperation with Certain Affinity, will be releasing a remastered version of Relic for Halo 2 Anniversary multiplayer. Unlike the other apologies Relic will be free for everyone through an in-game content update.
So, what you you think about 343i’s response to their mistakes with Halo: MCC? Is this enough to placate fans? Let us know on our forum!
