Halo Championship Series S1 Final Standings

It all happened today at PAX East when Season 1 of the Halo Championship Series came to a close with one of the closest matches in competitive Halo history.

Noble Black faced off against Counter Logic Gaming for a spot in the Grand Finals, and what a show it turned out to be. Having reached an equal footing after both teams won two games each, the best-of-5 match was to be settled in a final sudden-death game – this, and the two games that followed, ended in a tie with increasingly excited crowds and reactions across social media platforms. The final game was decided in CLG’s final-minute push where they gained 4 clear kills, seeing them take the win against Noble Black.

With Season 1 now over, we now have the final standings for this Season:

1st – Evil Geniuses

2nd – Counter Logic Gaming

3rd – Noble Black

4th – Cloud9

5th – Denial eSports

6th – Str8 Rippin

7th – eLevate

8th – OpTic Halo

If you missed the finals, you can catch it all on Halo’s official Twitch channel, including the exciting finale we saw today – if you watch anything from the event, make sure you watch that final matchup!
