Along with the April content update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries treated us with some new screenshots of Halo 3: ODST’s Campaign and the remastered map Relic for Halo 2 Anniversary. With the screenshots also came the news that both ODST and Relic are on track to release next month with the next content update for Halo: The Master Chief Collection. So if all goes well, both will release in May with the next content update.
Halo 3: ODST’s Campaign and Halo 2 Anniversary’s remastered multiplayer map Relic are part of the compensation for the Halo: The Master Chief Collection’s launch troubles.
All online users that have played “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” between Nov. 11, 2014 and Dec. 19, 2014 are eligible for the 1-month of Xbox Live Gold, an exclusive in-game nameplate and avatar, as well as the campaign for “Halo 3: ODST.”
The “Relic” multiplayer map will be available to all online users of “Halo: The Master Chief Collection,” regardless of gameplay during the eligibility period.
