Fallout 4 made it’s teaser reveal last week in the form of a video that didn’t really reveal all too much. It was essentially just a confirmation video that Fallout 4 is coming and showed some in-game footage. Awesome, but nothing truly spectacular. Maybe just enough to get fans excited for what would be the full E3 reveal…which is what we just received.
Bethesda pulled out all the stops for Fallout 4 and they made sure everyone watching their conference knew it.
Fallout 4 isn’t just a better looking Fallout 3. It’s a whole new beast.
Kind of like a Deathclaw mixed with…more Deathclaws.
Like an UberDeathclaw!
Oh god… O_O
First, check out the NSFW Kills Montage Trailer below.
There’s some swearing at the very beginning. Just a heads up.
“As the sole survivor of Vault 111, you enter a world destroyed by nuclear war. Every second is a fight for survival, and every choice is yours. Only you can rebuild and determine the fate of the Wasteland. Welcome home.”
Of course, everything you loved about Fallout 3 and even Fallout: New Vegas is here. From the classic enemies you’ll encounter and the different factions vying for control, to the gameplay and beloved V.A.T.S. targeting system, Fallout 4 is staying rooted to what made it such a success. However, as mentioned before, Bethesda hasn’t just made a prettier Fallout 3. They’ve added some things that people have been asking for for years and even included some features that no one saw coming.
Fallout 4 is massive and every square-foot of the open world is packed with detail, including you!
For the first time, our protagonist has a voice and his/her appearance is open to full customization.
That’s not all, however. The customization doesn’t stop there.
By using the new advanced crafting system, you can collect, upgrade, and customize your weapons, armor, chemicals, food, and much more – you can even manage entire settlements!
Everything you collect is a resource and can be used, in Fallout 4!
Scavenge the materials, build your arsenal, and become a true force to be reckoned with in The Wasteland!
Bethesda has added these new features, but they’ve also made sure to give Fallout 4 an impressive look as well. Despite being a post-apocalyptic scene of death, destruction, and horrifying mutated creatures, The Wasteland in Fallout 4 is truly beautiful. It’s an odd human trait to see beauty in destruction, but come on…when a game looks this good, who can complain?
At the center of every Fallout experience, is your Pip-Boy. Essentially a wearable computer attached to your forearm, it acts as your in-game menu. It allows you to manage your inventory, view your status, change your perks, change your in-game settings, or simply pause the game. It’s essential to your survival in The Wasteland and an icon of the Fallout series.
Bethesda knows this and they’ve made sure to give people the opportunity to own one for real!
Say hello to the Fallout 4 Pip-Boy Edition!
Fallout 4 stole the show at Bethesda’s E3 press conference, which is impressive, given the other games that they revealed in the same show. The public’s love for Fallout and post-apocalyptic role playing is apparent. Bethesda knocked it out of the park this E3 and this was just opening day! If this is just the beginning, then E3 2015 is going to be one for the record books…just you wait!
Fallout 4 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 10th, 2015 worldwide!
