UPDATED: Halo 5: Arena REQ Bundle Confirmed

UPDATED: All details below regarding release date, content delivery and pricing are correct.

Officially confirmed by 343 Industries, the Arena REQ Bundle “delivers randomized content focused on unlockable visual customization REQs, including armors, visors, weapon skins, and more. The Premium packs provide a greater chance at unlocking some of the rarest REQs, including Mythic and Legendary items. Additionally, players are guaranteed to receive the Mark V Alpha armor set, inspired by the Master Chief’s armor in Halo: Combat Evolved.”

The Arena REQ Bundle will be available to purchase in-game, on Xbox.com, via the Xbox Dashboard and selected retailers on release.

Original story:

As if a divine answer to a certain Content Producer’s recent wishes for a higher-rarity REQ pack to become available, an Arena REQ Bundle has surfaced on Amazon.com.

Appearing to function similarly to the Warzone REQ Bundle included in the Limited Edition for Halo 5, the Arena REQ Bundle is a one-time purchasable bundle delivering players two Premium Arena REQ packs per week, for seven weeks. These packs have a greater chance of unlocking higher-rarity REQs, and as the name would suggest, will contain cards targeted toward Arena. Details on the quantities of each REQ type players will receive per pack has not yet been confirmed, but it is likely that these packs will contain a greater-than-normal quantity of Permanent REQs and Arena Boosts.

The product description on Amazon.com reads:

Users may only redeem one Arena REQ Bundle per Xbox Live account.

Equip your Spartan with the latest armor, weapon skins, and other requisitions with 14 Premium Arena REQ Packs (2 per week). Amongst the highest-valued REQ Packs in the system, the bundle delivers randomized content in the form of unlockable visual customization REQs, including armors, visors, weapon skins, and more. These packs provide a greater chance at unlocking some of the rarest REQ Cards available including Mythics – legendary items so rare, so storied, and so powerful that they can change the course of entire battles.

Additionally players will receive the Mark V Alpha armor set, inspired by the Master Chief’s armor in Halo: Combat Evolved.”

One point to note from the above is that this bundle will also include the Mark V Alpha armour set, differing from the Warzone REQ Bundle by offering an additional REQ as a bonus.

In addition – keen eyes looking at the Arena REQ Bundle picture may notice what appears to be entirely new REQs! Could the release of this new REQ Bundle coincide with the February update for Halo 5? It’s only speculation, but it would be around the time updates have released so far…

According to its Amazon listing, the Arena REQ Bundle (currently available for pre-order) will launch on February 16th for $24.99 USD.

We are awaiting official confirmation from 343 Industries on the validity of this listing and any potential details, expect to see anything new on this story here on Ready Up Live!
