Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens Announced!

Following some leaks earlier today, Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been officially announced – launching on Xbox One & 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, WiiU and 3DS on June 28th 2016!

The product description from Xbox Store reads:

“In LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens, players relive the epic action from the blockbuster film Star Wars: The Force Awakens, retold through the clever and witty LEGO lens. The game will also feature exclusive playable content that bridges the story gap between Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi and Star Wars: The Force Awakens.”

Not only will there be extra story content, but TT Games will also introduce two new big features: Multi-Builds and Blaster Battles. Multi-Builds allow players to use available LEGO bricks to open up new paths, then break apart and re-build them again to open up another. Blaster battles introduce a cover system allowing players to use their surroundings as cover from blaster fire.

Not much more is known at this time, but expect to see more soon!

To tide you over until then, here’s a selection of exciting screen-grabs taken from the Xbox Store listing – enjoy!
