Who would ever have thought that a tower defence game about shooting peas at the undead would spawn a successful third-person shooter franchise? Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare did just that back in 2014, and now Garden Warfare 2 is stepping in to continue the trend.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 features all-new gamemodes including a hectic 24-player online battle, and the four-player co-op of Garden Ops and Graveyard Ops. Forget about the laws of time and space, you can play as plants and zombies from the past, present, and future. The game includes six new character classes and over one hundred playable characters, along with twelve new maps featuring gameplay elements like low gravity.
Garden Warfare 2 is set to launch on February 23rd in North Americaand February 25th in the United Kingdom, but those with EA Access or Origin Access can play up to ten hours of the full game starting on the 18th. All progress made will carry over when the game officially launches, including the game’s Loyalty Rewards, which give free, randomized items for levelling up in the game. Additionally, if you played the original Garden Warfare, any character variants you unlocked in the game will carry over to Garden Warfare 2.
