Bethesda today revealed that Dishonored 2, sequel to 2012’s award-winning Dishonored, will be launching for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on November 11th 2016!
Dishonored 2 picks up its predecessor’s story some years later, as players once again take up the mantle of a “supernatural assassin” as they make their way through hand-crafted missions with dozens of ways for players to tackle their objectives. As in the first game, the story will evolve with and respond to player choices within each level, with players able to run & gun or sneak & stab their way to targets as they see fit. Speaking of choices, there be two playable characters this time around, with players able to reprise the role of Royal Protector Corvo Attano, or the now-Empress Emily Kaldwin, all grown-up and absolutely able to hold her own unlike her childhood-self we saw in 2012.
Dishonored was of course one of last generation’s gaming highlights, widely praised for its unique and stunning visual design and excellent gameplay variety. If you missed this incredible stealth game the first time around, Dishonored: Definitive Edition is available for new-generation platforms, boasting visual improvements and containing all DLC expansions.
The Dishonored 2 gameplay world premiere will take place during Bethesda’s 2016 E3 show on June 12th beginning at 7pm PST – be sure to tune in for details on what is certainly going to be one of 2016’s most anticipated games!
