After playing the Beginning Hour demo, watching recent trailers and rocking back and forth in a corner for six weeks, Capcom knows exactly what you’re looking for… More reasons to go “nope”, right?
In the latest trailer for Resident Evil 7 titled “Tape 2 – The Bakers”, experience more of the discomforting atmosphere of the game’s derelict plantation mansion, get your first glimpse of the game’s intimate combat and meet the apparently volatile Baker family, tenants of the mansion.
With this reveal comes a few other tidbits of news from Tokyo Game Show:
- The Beginning Hour demo will now be available to all PS4 players, and has been updated to the “Twilight” version, which opens up all-new areas of the mansion to explore
- Micro-transactions will not feature in the game, however there are several pre-order bonuses which will contain what appear to be minor in-game items such as a consumable defense item and healing items
- A season pass will be available for RE7 containing access to three additional playable story episodes which will be launching after the title’s release on January 24, 2017
- In addition to being fully playable with the included optional PlayStation VR mode, Resident Evil 7 will also support 4K on the PlayStation 4 Pro
Ready to join the family? I’m not so sure about dinner-time…
