Today Bungie has gone festive. They have added a Ranked matchmaking playlist with only infection. You will be able to enter in a 4 person party. The games search for 8 - 13 players. You will be able to get achievements in the game. Such as your overkill achievement or your triple kill with the sword. The playlist has been up and running since 12:01 a.m. and will be running till 3:00 a.m. Thursday morning.

Bungie says on their main pages how the games will be arranged. This is a quote from them listing the variants of the infection game type that will be available:

"Save One Bullet, which is close to classical Infection but with limited ammunition which keeps the Humans from holding off the Zombies forever, and Creeping Death, where the Zombies are a bit slower but shockingly invisible and deadly. Creeping Rockets is a third variant where the Humans are more heavily armed, but the Zombies are tougher too"

For more info on the infection playlist head over to Bungie's (http://www.bungie.net/News/content.aspx?type=topnews&cid=12912) web site.

It's definitely a good opportunity to get the Steppin' Razor, and Overkill achievement, if you haven't already.

This helped me get the Steppin Razor and Triple Kill Achivs., but Infection just isn't as much fun without people you know.

Well it's a combination of that, and in my opinion, the gametypes.

The majority of games I played were Creeping Rockets, and Creeping Death. With the combination of an almost invisible camo; the Zombies were practically unstoppable.

Just not as fun as Save on Bullet, imo.
