Hey i was just wondering, does anyone know the real way on how to the katana. i have seen many videos on youtube but most of them are different. So if you know pls leave a post :D

How to get it? Get all 49/49 of the original achievements. (there are some people who get it by getting some of the new ones instead, but it tends to re-lock from time to time)

Go to Bungie.net to your profile. On the main page (the one with both Halo 3 and 2 stats) click on "GET BUNGIE CARDS!". That is where I got it. It even auto updates!!

yes, katana is from THE ORIGINAL 49 achievements.

I didn't get all 49 orignial achievements but I still have mine from getting some of the new achievements.

Ok i went on halo and i randomly checked if i had the katana and i did! i pressed a to select it but it went away and made me wear mark v. what happend? do i have it or not? :o

If you get over 1000 points in Halo 3, it will appear, and then re-lock. The only guaranteed way to keep it is to get the original achievements.

You still need pretty much all of the lone wolves achievements, and the meta-game achievements. Work on those, and keep checking to see if the katana stays unlocked for you.

Once I had 1000 gamerscore in Halo 3 achievements, I earned the Katana and kept it. Wasn't a problem, though it was a nice suprise to see it there suddenly.

Hi, i just got my katana but it tends to lock up. i got 50 gamerscore, mostly from new achievemens so ya...:D

Didn't they remove the laser on snowbound or is that only for teams?

Yea i got Katana and security at 1000 GP, but then it locked like you said... then after getting 47 achievments i actually got the armor and i still have it. It is consistant of the new and old achievments. idk why? i guess bungi patched it or sumthin... my other best guess is that since i got a whole bunch (as in like 20) in one weekend, bungi felt compelled... haha

I have heard that you need at least 1000 gamerscore to unlock the katana.

guys i got the katana and the security and i dnt even have 49 achievments... at 1000 pts i got it for about 30 seconds then it locked, after getting 47 achievments it reappeared and ive had it since, and this is with new and old achievments... maybe its Bungies thank you haha
