Who has a DS and is it good?

OK just had a random thought that I may ask for a DS for christmas. I could use a handheld for when im in the car and didnt really like the PSP(lack of games). I was just wondering what games are good and if it is worth getting one. I am 16 so I want something that isnt too childish(games or system). IDK if you guys have one but if you do let me know how you like it

DS is pretty fun except it doesnt have too many "good" games (shooters) but there are other fun games on it. I also think it will get more shooters because COD:4 is on it. It is a fun system though and I recomend it, if you really want a handheld

Yeah I started with a DS, traded it for a PSP, then traded that for a DS. So I'm probably the best to talk. I love the DS! Easy to pick up and play anytime and anywhere.

I have both and trust me DS is way better then psp.....alot more fun games and alot better just in general

I love the DS Lite, great system, except yea, about the dust collecting, I haven't played it in a while (too attached to my 360 right now).

But so far my Favourite games on the DS have been Pokemon and Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (you HAVE to play those games!)

The DS is pretty fun, but it kind of gets boring in the future. It is still fun, if you buy the right games. I would suggest buying Mario Kart DS, probably one of my favorite DS games. It may seem a bit childish, but it is a good wi-fi connection game and it has a lot of playable maps.

We have like 3 or something. They're okay, but get sorta boring.
I would prefer PKMN or something for a beginner, but it just depends on your taste of Genre.

I bought one simply for the Pokemon remakes that are coming out. (also bought the current ones). Pretty much any mario or Zelda games on it are good.

I have a Pokemon Color see-through Purple, a White GBA, a blue SP, 2 DSes (A silver and a Animal Crossing Blue), a GB Micro, a Black DS Lite, a Blue Special Edition Nintendo World DS engraved with Kirby (thinner than a DS Lite and the GBA slot goes all the way in) a Gamecube connector cable, all the Car Chargers and normal Chargers, a Battery Recharger with Rechargeable Batteries for my GBA, one of those old Scan Swiping things that attaches to your GBA and you can swipe cards through it, and over 48 games for them.....oh and I have this God of War version piece of crap in the "old stuff" corner near my PS2 and Wii......I think it's called a PSP or something...

I got a DS Lite when the black one first came out. I just use it for Pokemon Platinum and probably for the Silver and Gold remakes in the future but besides that I don't use it.

I have a DS but I think the PSP is better LOL PSP aka (Pretty Small Penis) oh and Socom is a good PSP game!!!
