Anyone trying to get Grizzled Veteran in CoD3? It's really, really hard... Most parts seem like they can't be done, but you have to just keep trying. I'm on the second to last mission, and I've already beaten the last(Though I think I'll have to do it again). Once I'm done I might post a walkthrough.:cool:

Ahh, I gave up on that. There were to many glitches where I was getting shot through solid objects. I didn't want to damage anything in my house so I stopped playing veteran :D

I know, it's quite annoying to randomly die, or get stuck in the doorway to a new room. I broke a pool stick in one of my about-to-finish-the-level-but-died rampages. But I have to finish it and I won't stop until I do... or get 3 red lights trying.

Yea, I stopped on the 5th level I think. I just wanted to play my other games, so I stopped playing COD3.

Well I'm happy to say that I beat it! Once I beat the Polish level, the last one was really easy.

Some quick tips for anyone trying on Veteran.
1. If you're going for the achievement, it is best to delete your old save for CoD3, and start a new game on Veteran. Don't replay missions or start from a new chapter, always select "Load last checkpoint."
2. Smoke is the best weapon. Seriously. If moving from cover, or crossing an open area, pop some smoke in the general area and wait a few seconds for it to cover the whole area. Keep the aiming reticle up, as it will turn red if theres an enemy that you can't see.
3. Smoke, frag, and rush. For about 90% of areas, killing the enemy is not enough. They will continually spawn, until you move forwards and get to their area, causing the spawn cycle to stop. Because of this, weapons like sniper rifles, or even regular rifles, are useless. You'll want two automatic guns, I reccomend an Axis weapon(STG44, MP40) as their is plenty of ammo, and your secondary starting SMG.
4. Don't do things that will be fun. Thinking of hopping on that machine gun? Or picking up that Panzerchreck? Don't. Even though you may be getting bored of the continuous smoke, frag, and rush, it's the only tactic that works.
5. Last, but not least, use your allies! Even though many of you will read this and think "WTF they don't do anything!" they are quite usefull. Many people don't know this, but you can actually command them. Simply look at a soldier, and when the crosshair blocker pops up, pull the right trigger. This will make them move up or find new cover. Likewise, clicking melee will cause them to fall back or give suppressing fire.

If you guys need want the achievements on GH2 so badly there is a glitch you can do.
You can look it up on google or ask Elitebeaver Because he used it to beat jordan.

I can only get like 56% into the song. Then I fail. I like refuse to use star power till I absolutly need it and I end up using it to late.

I still need the two for one and mongoose mowdown. But I'm at too high a level to be running around like a tard trying to hit someone with an ATV, lol.
Also, the Guitar Hero achievements are damn hard...
