I'm interested what kind of music you listen to: genres, bands, songs etc.

Genre: Metal
Band: Iron Maiden
Album: Powerslave
Song: Powerslave

Anyone into power metal (there's too few of us *sigh*) check out Manowar they're AMAZING!

I'm in to a lot of music... Not a big fan of rap and country though. And what is "power metal" exactly?

Some bands I like are: Rise Against, Bayside, Anti-Flag, System of a Down, Atreyu, Cake, Cold, A Day to Remember, Digital Summer, Does it Offend You Yeah?, Escape the Fate, Flogging Molly... Etc., etc.. I could go on for awhile, but I will stop there.

Power metal is a subgenre of metal which is hard to describe, but judging by the bands you're into Manowar is probably not for you.

P.S. Down with rap!!!

I'll check out Manowar anyways. And yeah, rap does need to go down.

EDIT: I checked them out, and you were right, they're not for me.

I just dislike how many people are becoming huge because of rap. People like Lil' Wayne and T-Pain should not be famous, and their music is bad.

Oh Jeez, do I really have to do this but, uhh... So how is someone spitting rhymes making your ears bleed when people just screaming doesn't hmmm.... and how is it bad? Only screaming in a song doesn't seem very... musical to me :/ and people rhyming lyrics sounds like music to me

Some people cannot stand rap while others cannot stand "screamo", it's just a matter of taste. That is why both genres have people saying it makes their ears bleed. Anyways, like I said before, I dislike how many people are becoming rich and famous for their lack of talent. And that is why I dislike rap.

I don't listen to screamo either actually, not all metal is screamo, in fact most isn't. But screamo is still more music than rap because rap just has bad drums and bass on a loop while aside from the insane vocals the guitars, basses and drums are actually playing music.

I like heavy metal/screamo, rock and rap/rock mixed together, like Hollywood Undead and the devil wears prada. I also like bring me the horizon and slipknot.

I'll listen to just about anything, but what I mostly listen to is rock. Anything from the Light Rock to Screamo. My favorites are Metal, Alternative, and Post-Grunge.

I can listen to rap but only if it isn't the Generic "I grew Up in The Hood", "I'm Rich *****", "look at me and how badass I am", or "I'm gonna f**k you *****".

anyway...

Very respectable choices in Five Finger Death Punch and Desperado but I've never heard Hollywood Undead and you're not the first person to mention them. I think I'll check them out, any suggestions for songs?
