Use this thread to introduce new artists to some of the other forum members, try to only name newer or unknown artists.

I think everyone should look up the new band The Worsties who are alternative and The Study who are indie and soft rock.

I really only liked Don't trust me, I don't know if the others I listened to were covers or what, but they didn't sound anything like the same band.

I know what you mean at first I thought Chokechain was a cover but learned it was a song they wrote, besides that though I like the song I'm Not Your Boyfriend and Starstrukk. Also some pretty good artists in this thread most I like and also I was always wondering who sang that SF4 song so answer found, as for a new artist as many of you know I like MGMT they are still pretty new and are gaining momentum pretty good band with diffrent sounding music and awesome lyrics / beats in my opinion.

I can't tell if your using sarcasm or not Hippo, and i'm not suprised you don't like it Green since it's not really as up beat as your music seems to be, not many people seem to like them since they are somewhat considered stoner music and since their diffrent sounding compared to what is considered "mainstream" now.

No no, Im not being sarcastic. I love MGMT, and everyone I know...well except Greenskull, enjoys atleast Electric Feel.

Personally, I like Kids the best, but alot of their music is so catchy and creative. :P

Really? I have never heard about them before that night when some girl was playing her IPod and played the album New Surrender, I now have that CD and it's really a good listen, also another side band i'm listening to is In This Moment who I first listened to on Rock Band and then watched at Warped Tour, very solid band overall although I doubt they really have a mainstream appeal still it's worth downloading a song or two of theirs.

In This Moment is really good.

I found a techno-dethcore band called We Butter Our Bread With Butter, and I find them amusing.

The vocals take a bit to get used to, but I actually like it. It's a nice change.

Omg I love Bowie, such an innovative artist for not only his time but even til this day; I've also heard of that Arcade Fire band on Current TVs Backstage Pass show pretty interesting sound. As for some new band I highly reccomend Neon Trees, very easy to listen and catchy songs; their gaining popularity now due to the single Animals but the whole Habits album is good and only $7.99 on iTunes.
