I hate the "Don't Trust Me" song, and Lady Gaga (she scares me), and I don't like Taylor Swift's music, and I don't like Country, and I don't like screamo, and I don't like Nickelback (they just sound weird to me). Yeah, when it comes to music I'm not very open minded. ;):P:D[nja]

Love Story - Taylor Swift
Any Lil Wayne song
Any Soulja Boy song
Any Country song
Pretty much any sterotypical rap song
I don't really want to post an argument but you really can decipher "screamo" songs if you know the band, if you just listen to one song being closed minded you won't but it is fairly easy to understand as long as you go into without being like " dood this songs stoopid all you hear is screaming and yelling this aint music put on me some (insert the "now" artist of the moment) yeahhhhh now thats music", then like a month later after raving about said artist you'll probably go to the next one hit wonders. Not all but a large majority are similar to this, also I obviously paraphrased if you couldn't tell.

I believe Rap takes a hit from people who use the stereotype that they are all the Lil Waynes, and Soulja Boys who ruin Raps credit. I am not a huge fan of the Genre and I have to say the songs I have listened to(which are many because that is all my brother plays)Are not stereotypical.
Also the Fact that people think most Rap artists talk about hoes, money , and gang violence is very wrong. Eminem for example, talks about growing up with out a father, his daughters and some satirical songs .
I believe you have listen to that genre more and decide your view on it.
P.S I am asking for specific songs, not genre(s)

I think your thinking of Love Game - Lady GaGa, and also I didn't mention a certain song due to the fact that their really is no way to choose between the the many bad rap/country songs and name just 1.

Ok fine but your saying you hate lil wayne, soulja boy and pretty much rap because you dont like how they talk about money and ho's... but isnt that pretty much the same thing with a different type of music. we say we dont like screamo because it screams... alot, and you dont like rap because it says money or ho.. alot. you do the same thing with rap, but the thing is some rap dosent do that.. i could name a large number of songs that do not do this. and if you want me to i will

I never said that I hate it due to the money and girls thing although thats a major factor it's just that for a long while it hasn't been really original at all although in my opinion the "Screamo" genre as you may call it has progressed over time, for instance in the early to late 70's you had a screamer technically in Jim Morrison he howled, screached, and moaned and yet he's regarded as one of the best and most artistic people of that time. I'm not saying all rap is terrible which for some reason many have you taken it that way another example recently I have grown to like the song Run This Town and Empire Thinking because it's not the typical norm of the genre. And as for me disliking Soulja Boy and Lil Wayne it's not because of their lyrics exactly it's because a large majority of the songs I have been presented by them are all repetitive to an extent and haven't shown that the genres progressing, take for instance the infamous Soulja first of all he gains fame for the Soulja Boy or whatever the song was called now at the time I didn't hate the song but I still thought it was stupid seeing my somewhat nerdy friend singing the lyrics as he does with many rap songs "superman that ho" and other various parts now after a while I thought he would grow down and be a one hit wonder then he comes with other songs that follow very similar patterns of repeating the song title over and over and over again to the point where I wanted to break the persons IPod, not because it was rap but because I don't think someone should gain noteriety for unoriginality which is sadly what the genres have become. Now that's not to say that all "screamo" is amazing, I don't think that at all in fact their are some songs I find stupid in that genre as well it's just that for some reason rap has garnered the mass media to the point of oversaturation and to the point of no progress being made significantly enough while in my opinion the other genres are beginning to flourish, my final example is not only my one friend but a large amount of my school, last year I saw countless rap artist shirts from everything in between while this year seems to be heading more in favor of other genres now once those genres become popular the music will most likely be exploited and then the older genre will become better as a whole so I guess my overall message is that I don't hate rap due to over sterotyping its that progress has yet to be really made in a long while and that everyone should like what they do and not to always follow what is popular at the time because then your conforming and in the next 2 months that Lil Wayne shirt or whatever artist shirt you bought will seem really stupid and you'll just repeat again. Now that I have written enough to pretty much be at least half a review I am done and this time try and read all I have written and try to understand as much as you can from it not just sit their and start ranting about some artist that isn't like what i'm describing I am looking at the whole of Rap not just one artist who may be trying to help the genre and I assume your doing something a bit similar to "screamo". (Also I have screamo because as mentioned before it's not it's own genre, there's screaming in many genres including classic rock, metal, alternative, glam, and even pop rock to an extent yet none of those songs are "screamo", you really can't pair Semi Precious Magnet and Metallica or Slayer together.)
