It seems that everyone was really wanting the Video Marketplace and now that we have gotten it, I dont know of anyone who uses it.

All the movies are crap, and expensive. I was going to get a HD movie but gave up, as i've already seen 300 countless times.
Have they added movies since the launch yet?

I thought you actually got to BUY the movies, not pay enough money for an arcade game to rent it for A DAY

Yea, scored a HD DVD player for $150 today. So the craptastic xblvm is very useless now..
I recommend it to everyone; works great.

You guys are bashing something thats identical to renting movies from a movie store...the pricing is dead on as to what youd be paying at rogers or blockbuster (and cheaper for HD)...You get the movie for a week until you watch it for the first time...then it becomes a day...how many times do you need to watch the same movie anyways? The only dissapointing thing about it right now is that we have no TV shows...and the HD DVD drive is nice, but not the greatest of quality...

agreed. Some time this might be useful, you want a movie but don't feel like driving to a store

I haven't used it yet, but I probably will some day.
Right now I'm choosing to support HD DVD, so I'm buying most of the movies I watch nowadays - but I would download a HD version of a movie I cannot get on HD DVD (say something from either Fox or Disney)... also, at the moment the selection they do have doesn't appeal to me (not including the ones I already own on HD DVD anyways...).
Give me Die Hard 4 or Cars, and I'll rent them!
