How many people have halo 2 vista? and if so what's your opinion on it?
I just picked it up for my new laptop which I will be receiving on the 31st.
I hope it can run it on full settings :)

I do. Sorry to break it to you but I have a nice gaming rig that I got in December of last year and there are still framerate hitches. Hopefully the Vista SP1 will fix those issues.

Thanks for the info. I looked at the requirements on the back of the game and my computer surpass them by quite a bit. I just hope there aren't any problems when i attempt to play it.

When is SP1 coming out for Vista anyways? or has there been no timeline as of yet?

K, thanks. I just got my laptop today, and i installed halo 2 vista on it, and it runs perfectly with no performance issues on full settings :) So i'm one happy camper as of right now :)

What did you think of it while playing? When I was playing it back when it came out... I just couldn't get used to it, even while I was using my 36o controller, it just felt different while playing somehow..

My friend has it and he loves it but that's probably because he doesn't even own an xbox 360 or an console for that matter lol. I don't have it because I don't have Vista and I'm getting Halo 3 anyways.

I will be getting it once I get Vista, but that might be a while because I'm getting it when service pack 1 comes out.

Ps. We will get some achievements when I get it.

I almost bought Vista for this....
But I decided to wait for the update, or SV1 as you computer dudes call it. :P

Well at first if felt foreign, but then I got used to it, so I'm having quite a bit of fun with it now. Feels disorienting playing this game with a mouse when I've been playing it so long with a controller.
