Gears of War - PC Version

I can tell you the game looks better than the 360 version and plays much smoother. I played further than I was allowed, but they made sure I didn't get to see the new stuff.

I spoke with Ryan from MS about them and he's not sure where they are in the game as they just got that beta build the day before and it was the first time they were included.

I cant see how he controls would work on a keyboard.. I dont know why but I just dont see how it would work.

I think the controles will be awsome for pc! Shoot and reload with left and right clicker, movement with w,a,s,d, Rodie run/use cover with shift or Ctrl. Toggle weapon with Numbers and pick up weapons/Interact with enviroment with enter!

I dont know. I still think that GoW is meant for a console and that they are just being greedy launching it on the PC aswell.

I think gears of war wil be funner on PC just because of Mods. Mods are the only reason why I will be buying Unreal Tournament 3 for both PC and 360.

It will feel VERY odd on pc.. But I just got my new vista laptop today and can't wait to give it a go..

i think it was a bad marketing strategy to put so many good xbox and xbox 360 games on windows. Whats gonna drive people do buy the console now. You can use the controller on pc and get the games for pc and even go on liove on ur pc. wow

That is true...I even bought that adapter for my wireless controller...used it to beat Halo 2 for Vista and Shadowrun

I've played PC games with the Xbox 360 controller, but for some reason it doesnt feel the same and I cant get the hang of it.

So I can use the controller, phew thats a releif, I kind of thought you could anyways. But I think I'm holding off on games this year and not spending all my money on them. Who knows, I might get a Wii:D

for some reason when ever i use my wired controller on my PC with Halo 2. The controller acts up some times. It will change the buttons around and stuff like that. So i will try to look down but i will walk to the right, or i will try to exit a menu and instead of exiting it will just act as if i pressed "A" instead of "B".

long story short its a good game no matter where you play it.
