Game Recording

I was just wondering, does anyone else ever record their computer games? What video capture program do you use?

I use FRAPS right now, but it really decreases the amount of frames per second everything plays at. An alternative is Taksi, but I'm yet to try that out.

If anyone is interested, maybe we could make some machinima or just some intense gameplay videos in Garry's Mod or Counter Strike or something.

When I tried to get mt wegame clips onto WMM they were just black.:confused:
