I remember seeing a thread like this a long time ago. I want to buy a hand held gaming system. And obviously the nominees are the DS lite and the PSP. I am leaning towards the DS lite since all the reviews to towards that one, but I am still undecided. Since I find the PSP has really nice graphics and media. I also like the sport games, and shooters and some exclusives. But I like the DS for the zelda and Nintendo games.

Help me with this guys.

I think PSP is better because:
you get better games (like GTA)
The graphics are better
There is a lot of media compatibility
There is a web browser
RSS Feeds
Pictures
Custom backgrounds
and a lot more

Hmm...I just bought a PSP is December and I still find myself playing my DS alot more. Actually, I am playing it as we speak...er...type!
Go with a DS.

i used to have a PSP but one morning i woke up and triped and it fell out of my hands down my stairs and broke.....true story

DS. I've owned both a PSP and DS. I started with DS Fat, traded it for PSP, then traded that for DS Lite. PSP is pretty sweet, but it doesn't have the best games and it isn't really pick up and play. Ds, on the other hand, you pick it up, play a little, put it down, just what handhelds are meant for. Go with a DS, you won't regret it.

Find what? There are two votes for DS and two for PSP...
I still say go with a DS. My niece has one and she loves it. Then my sister started playing hers and then she bought one and now her fiance wants to buy one for himself cause he is tired of sharing. So, since my whole family votes for DS, the vote is now 6 - 2.
