Dear God, I restarted my computer and now the resoulution is as big as it can get and I can only get 16 colors... I have tried changing them from the control pannel and that didn't work! Please help, if this keeps up, we're going to have to get a new comp!

Sounds like it started in safe mode or something really messed up.

I'm guessing you tried right clicking on desktop and pressing properties then pressing settings?

sounds like a graphics card issue in all, how old is the card? If it's not the card, check the monitor cord. I had someone that came into where I work with an issue where he was lacking certain colors and it turned out that a pin in the vga cord was bent.

Actually it could be a windows issue.
My friends monitor used to show everything in red, but then he re-installed windows and it was perfect.
Try repairing windows first as apposed to a "CLEAN" install
