Wow two huge metal losses this week, first the originator of the devil horns and one of the voices of metal Dio and now Gray one of the sickest bassist around in modern metal.

Supposedly a drug overdose...

However, rumors keep spreading and some douchebags edited his wikipedia information to make it really dramatic.

The drug overdose theory doesn't sound correct at all. I highly doubt that's the case. I just don't see it happening. Things were looking up for him and I just don't see him doing that to himself.
