Time to kick it into gear - An Update

Hey everyone. I have some important stuff to discuss. WOOHOO!

So first off you may have noticed RUL had a little hicup. I am literally clueless as to what happened. It makes no sense. Essentially, RUL decided to revert back to October 6. Weird, right?

So luckily, with this new plan I'm paying for I could revert back to November 12th. So anything in the past few days is missing. No big deal considering what happened last time......*shiver*


Now, on to more important things.

Ever since the great crash of 2010, our activity levels slumped. We need to bring this baby back to the awesomeness that it was before the crash.

Now Riot is playing a big part in that by hosting frequent RUL Nights, but it's about to get even better. Riot is taking Sour's place as Community Manager and Sour is being bumped up to a higher role: Managing Director. He will now be even MORE powerful. His job now is to help run the place and keep everyone in line. He will ensure that the entire site runs like nicely fitting gears.

So give Sour and Riot a big congrats. They are huge components of this site.

I'm going to be posting a few more threads like this to get everyone up to speed and to form the community around the people that make it happen: you.

Thanks for hanging in there! RUL has had stupid amounts of bad luck. Karma's gotta come back our way somehow. Make it happen.

*headdesk!* Yeah, I haven't been the best RUL member the past few weeks. This semester's been effin' weird, to say the least. I'm only two days and 13 pages away from having NO SCHOOL WORK until finals, so I'll be around a lot more, especially during Thanksgiving break. :)

More RUL night vids and Greenskull Randomtages on youtube. More Green's Machines on Waypoint. Those are excellent forms of advertising. Its how I found this site and it seems, according to the Welcome section of these forums, how most people find there way here.

It is true though, site consistency it vital. Down time, especially over a weekend, is a momentum killer. Losing info is too. It has been especially damaging to the momentum of the site as this has happened during the first few months of Reach's launch and as we all know, RUL is attracts Halo fans more than anyone else.

I love the organization and leadership that seems to be in place here with Green, Sour, Riot, Zolner, etc. etc. If the actual site becomes more stable, and maybe a cool new design is launched along with a few awesome vids to advertise with, we will see a steady jump in new members who actually participate. 1,000,000 more kids will be getting Reach for Christmas, so lets get them to join RUL! Also those silly Black OPS kids too.

If this second site bug has proven anything it is who are the hardcore RuLers that will stay for almost anything.
I must admit I was concerned that I would have to remake this account again.

I would, I just dont know anything about it is all. I mean I would assume its nothing like 50 a month hah, just when I looked for the sub/donate all I got was to fill out credit card info (dont have paypal).

On the note of the bug.. it got me confused, and me not having tomany friends in RUL yet, kinda made me wonder and check it constantly to find out what went on hah.
