**UPDATE** It seems like the Messenger Kit is nowhere to be seen in a lot of stores. Not sure if they're stuck somewhere, but some stores have pushed the release date as far as the end of October. If anyone has any further updates, please post a reply.

As many of you already know, Microsoft will be releasing several (limited edition) items exclusively for Xbox 360 this month. Here's a small recap of what's coming your way in as much as a few days:

Xbox 360 Messenger Kit - $29.99 U.S./$39.99 CDN - Sept. 4

The only real thing I would consider looking into picking up is the wireless headset. That's only if they fixed all the bugs from the previous ones though. If not then i'm gonna stay away from it.

never had a problem with my wireless headset. Picked it up when they came out, and its worked fine since.

Definitly going to pick up a chat pas so I can spam everyone and let them all know while im loading..

A lot of people I know who have a wireless headset have a lot of static but that's the only problem I find.

And about the chat pad, I just bought a usb keyboard for 20$ instead of paying 35$ for something that just gets in the way while playing video games.

I have a friend who is constantly having static issues with his.. Turns out it was his cordless phone that was making it jumble up.. I don't have any cordless phones and mine works great.. Now Im not sure if this is the real reason, or if it even makes sense. But I hear they have a really bad problem with bluetooth headsets too..

I've had my wireless headset since December and had no problems with it at all. The only thing which I hate is the battery life. For some reason, my headset runs out pretty fast.

I agree about the Halo wireless controller, it looks pretty slick

My wireless headset rocks and has no problems at all. I think I be picking up both the U.N.S.C and the covenent controllers.

I also have a wireless head set and it works very well. I think I will buy the Xbox 360 Messenger Kit since I dislike the normal chatting, it takes to long. The only thing that makes me think about it is the difference between the Canadian and American price now that the dollars are really close, I do understand there is shipping but its not that much since its in bulk. As for the controller, I just got a black one so its not on the top of my list but i would like another controller eventually. I also just got a wireless head set (I love my birthday) so buying the Halo 3 Special Edition Wireless Headset which only seems to have a different paint job isn't worth buying for me.

Was going to buy the chatpad but I just got a new headset so I won't need it. And besides I'm not old enough to use WLM on XBL.
