Tournament Update

Remember the MASSIVE ANNOUNCEMENT (http://www.readyuplive.com/showthread.php?t=569) from a few days ago? Well I did a survey on a few other sites and the game has been decided. Halo it is. As one guy put it "playing CoD4 would be like entering a football tourney to win a golf club". I agree. We will accumulate more money for charity if we make it Halo 3. To appease all of you COD lovers, the next tourney will be a free COD4 tournament.

did I say more people play Halo 3? No. I said more people will sign up for this because of the prize and stuff. And just because you think COD4 is a better game doesn't mean everyone does.

That sentence there makes it safe to assume that you ment more people play Halo 3...sorry for assuming the obvious...and COD4 is the number one played xbox live game...it also got better reviews and it beat out Halo 3 (quite badly actually) in votes for game of the year...my opinion may only be just that...my own...but Im looking at statistics...and they show more people play COD4...no need to get so defensive...

Also...which other sites did you post this on? Just curious...
The poll you made here (the one that technically should matter most) said COD4 should be the game...dont take this as an arguement...Im just curious

i don't think i will be participating in this tourney...really i dont feel like going back halo 3 even for a day.Halo 3 is collecting dust right now...it must be kept away.Cod4 is simply a better game to me. See everyone at the COD4 tourney

i came back from a long trip to amazon...and i love halo 3 but if halo wins dont make it like the last tourny...it was sad

I wish you all the luck in the world with this tourney...hopefully you can collect a nice amount for charity...but you shouldn't have changed the game becuase of the prize...I wouldn't care if I won are not...its all for the greater good, right?...just thought you should see this...

Anyways...I still think you would have been better off with COD4 since alot more people wanted it and is overall a more even game. Also, our last tournament was Halo3.

I still think that Call of Duty 4 is a better pick. We will get more people (including the ones who dont want halo who posted here) to join and it will probobly be more fair.

Who knows, maybe we can comprimise. The charity tournament can be COD4 and then we can just have another Halo tournament that we use the prize in.

I dont know...thats just my two cents.he assumed it was halo. If I was donating a sweet prize for a game I made I'd want it to be my game. I can't do anything about it. It's halo. Nobody should complain about a tournament. If you don't like it, then don't enter.
