View Full Version : Three Free Ubisoft Games!

So, Ubisoft just did something which people will have split opinions on. They released three great games, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Prince of Persia, and Far Cry, for FREE over the internet! Sounds amazing right? There's a catch. All of the games have ads in them. I've been playing Rayman (LOVE IT!) and it was annoying at first, but you get used to it. When you start the game up and everytime you lose/win a minigame a 10 or so second ad pops up. I think it's worth it for a FREE GAME! Like I said, it's annoying at first but you get over it. If anyone downloads the other titles, tell me how the ads are in them. Here are the links to the games:

Rayman Raving Rabbids (http://www.fileplanet.com/180428/180000/fileinfo/Rayman-Raving-Rabbids-%5BFree-Game)

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time (http://www.fileplanet.com/180411/180000/fileinfo/Prince-of-Persia:-Sands-of-Time-Full-Game-%5BFree-Game---Ad-Supported%5D)

Far Cry (http://www.fileplanet.com/180410/180000/fileinfo/Far-Cry-Full-Game-%5BFree-Game)

If you don't think your system is too great, I recommend Rayman. It is pretty easy to run. Far Cry, on the other hand, is the complete opposite.

To install the games, you need a US account on www.ubisoft.com (http://www.ubisoft.com).

Enjoy!

EDIT: Looks like they ended the promotion. Too bad.

I might try them later lol Are there a LOT of ads or just a few every so often?

EDIT: You have to subscribe to something on that site before you can play the games?

I already have the retail game of Farcry, and I don't want to play the other two. So I'm all set. Although It could be useful info for some of my friends who want the games.

I'd rather play Crysis over Farcry and it doesn't have ads in it, lol.

Seriously though, I'm sick of seeing ads in Ubisoft games. It's kind of funny when I see an ad for Splinter Cell in Rainbow Six: Vegas, but when other companies pay to advertise, it just becomes annoying.

And also they make money off it so money=better games
