Unfortunately I was a little late picking this game up. All in all, Im loving this game. Its great! Only been scared once so far, and I jumped off the couch.. (Friend was over explaining some stuff. I turned my character around and there was a splicer right there breathing down my neck. Jumped off the couch and landed behind it with a very big thud..)

But I've heard alot of mixed thoughts on it.. And just curious; do you all like it?

...And besides halo3; do you think it deserves the spot as game of the year?

I love BioShock it has one of the best level design ever!

I think it deserves an Award for innovation but not GotY

exactly what i was thinking.. its not really goty material,. but thats just in my eyes. After seeing Spike Tv's video game awards. I wouldnt put it out of the picture.

Ya the game is great. I especially love the freedom you have with the plasmids. The traps you can pull on those big daddies...:P.

I really liked this game, this coming from a guy who doesnt like single player games that much...
I thought it was hard to playthrough the second time though.

I dont think it deserves Game of the Year, but maybe some other award.

I really liked playing this one (and I rarely beat games these days... too busy with my job, but I beat this one!) - I think it is GOTY material! ;-)

... could be, it's just that I'm an older gamer (32...) so, all you "youngins" out there just prefer all the multiplayer LIVE games... ;-)

I liked this game very much as well. I still need to beat it though. I've sorta been taking small little breaks from the game. I just can't seem to sit down and finish it. :P
As to whether or not i believe it deserves game of the year. I don't think it does. If it had good multi-player maybe. But a single player only game should have a lot more depth if it wants to get that award.
