Bomberman: Act Zero is basically just like all the other generic Bomberman games out there. This one however doesn't have the same fun that all the other Bomberman games are known for. There isn't really that much in customization for characters. You get to choose female or male, then a color, pretty basic. Then as soon as you are done setting up your character it throws you right into battle. There is a Single Battle FPS (First Person Bomber style) and Single Player Standard (Classic Bomberman style). In Standard mode you play in a fixed, static point of view above the playing field. If you come in contact with a Bomb Blast you die. Quite simple. The FPB mode you can control the camera angle and the camera is a little bit closer. It moves with you. In this mode you don't die right away from a bomb blast. You actually have health. Once your health reaches zero you die obviously. The power ups in the game are basically the same as they are through-out the rest of the series. Each of the game types you are doing the same thing over and over and over again.... in fact your doing it over and over and over again x99. You have to do 99 stages in the game for you to actually beat the game. You think that once you die you can spawn at a check point... think again. Once you die you have to restart all the way back at the beginning. The game is so tedious its not even funny. The only is just like single player besides the fact that you don't have stages. Your just duking it out with other players..... that is if you could find any. The whole time I have had the game, I have not seen one player at all online. Completely questioning why they put multi-player in the game. Over all the game is a complete waste of money. Unless your an EXTREAMLY die hard fan of the series, I would suggest avoiding this title at all costs. I only have it because I got it for $3 dollars. The funny thing is... I still feel ripped off.

Final Score:

2.5<br/>

Prototype, if you had to get 100% completion in either this game or Yaris, which one would you do?
