Want one last shot at playing the new maps early (and for free)?

All you need to do is take a screenshot of the Revenant in Halo: Reach and tag the screenshot with "RUL Defiant". The four best screenshots will win!

Once you have the screenshot, post a link to it in the comments. Feel free to talk throughout the thread and comment on other peoples' screenshots.

The contest will end at 7pm PST.

A new post will be made on the frontpage of the site announcing the winners.

People use effects to make things look more to their personal liking or what they think looks cool. Some people know how to use these effects, and some people don't. Adding effects that look good adds an artistic touch to the screenshot, so they shouldn't be looked at as a negative thing or called "biased". Bungie added them to Reach so that people could use them. Personally, I dislike over saturated/contrasted effect shots that many people seem to think are cool, but I also dislike photos that are too simple or plain that anyone could have took easily. I prefer clear shots which have color changing effects or effects that add a touch of darkness which brings out the light of weapon fire and explosions in an image. It's more of an opinion than someone being biased. Just depends on what looks good and what doesn't look as good.

my thoughts exactly; I only dislike the ones that don't make good use of the FX.
