If everything goes according to plan, Microsoft's response to Nintendo's Wii will appear before the end of the year, a developer who has been briefed on the project told MTV News. The Xbox 360 manufacturer has been working on its own version of the motion-controlled Wii remote since last summer, the developer said

WTF?!??! That's messed up...but how come this information hasn't been posted on any other sites like IGN, Gamespot or Teamxbox?

This is a rumor i doubt this was would happen and kotaku isn't the best site at spreading true stories.

I meant the other sites like IGN, Gamespot or Teamxbox, not kotaku. I guess it's just because it's a rumour, nothing official of course.

yea, it looks too much like the wii mote, i think if microsoft was going to make something like that they would atleast make it look differant

Thats pretty cool I guess, but I wonder what kind of games are actually going to use it? I think many people will probably look over this new controller for the original =(
