Ok, Im getting GTA IV today in a couple hours. :D
I just want to know what you guys think about the game and what you like about it. Post anything about it like the hardest thing you have done so far or some ideas you have about the game that they could change.
Im sure this is without a doubt the best game of the year, tell why or why not you agree.
Edit: Changed title so there is no confusion about where this goes ;) - Semper

It's an awesome game. I love the cover system, I love the story thus far, and I <3 Liberty City.
There are a couple things that, in my opinion could have been added or changed:
-For example, this is just an idea, but having something along the lines of a CD option for the car radio stations, and it plays songs from your 360's harddrive. I think each radio station only plays 5 or 6 songs, which can get stale.
Beat 102.7 and The Vibe in my opinion are the best stations, BTW :P
-I don't like how when you are currently on a mission, and you have a buddy call you and ask to go grab a bite or something, obviously you can't go.. you lose a percentage of their likeness towards you.. gheyness!
-I wrote this in the jyeah thread as well, but One thing that is starting to get me frustrated right now is that every time I'm about to go to somebody for a mission, someone else will call me and this will start a new mission (ie: U.L. Paper)... and of course it's all the way on the other side of the island.. Coincidence? Maybe..
I think I need my own helicopter!
That's it for now, only 30%, 9 hours played, 41 missions completed, 0 failed.

Amazing game...I beat the story two days ago (It has 2 different endings) and loved it...Im currently trying to get 100% (Im at 80% now...almost there!)
My only beef atm is the stupid packages (known as flying rats)...if I didn't have the strategy guide, I would never find them all...theres 200

other than the multiplayer not bringing the whole party 4/5 times; And all the stuff they removed from SA, its definitely great!

Only thing I wanted was, that in SA you could get you guy to work out and boost up his stats, I wish they had that in this game.

that was actually the #1 least popular feature of the game. Everyone hated it, including me.

No offense but, a lot of times, you say everyone hates something, just because you don't like it. Different people have different opinons. It was cool to me.

I think San Andreas was made to test alot of different things...they put so much into the game because they wanted peoples reactions on stuff that they could use in future GTA games...it was sorta like an experiment...like Vice City...but in the end, Liberty City will always prevail...the stories are much better...and tbh, they don't need any of that extra crap they put into San Andreas...there is such a thing as to much...and they knew they had crossed the line with that game...GTA IV isn't perfect, but it certainly is the most detailed of all GTA's...and the best story and characters (Niko is awesome)...my 0.02

That feature in San Andreas was good, and it added realism and a little more to the game. BUT I always remember when I play that before you can move past a certain point in the story that you have to build up lung capacity for like 3 hours before you can do a mission. That really annoyed me.

I must say, I loved this game. Then, I played Saints Row 2 when my brother borrowed it from a friend. I enjoyed this a lot. The game was returned, and I excitedly picked up GTA IV again. Three minutes later, I shutdown my 360 and read a book. I missed Saints Row 2...

This is a great game with super fun features. I think you will have a blast. There a certain missions that are hard like Museum Piece or 3 Leaf Clover. The ending is of Movie proportions. The cover system is top notch and Online Play could possibly rival Halo 3. All in all this is a great game to pick up. After you finish the Story line go for the Lost and The Damned it was also fun.
