As of May 18, 2008 at 12:45 AM, IeatdUrcookie's Xbox 360 Premium Edition received what is referred to as the "Red Ring of Death", these three flashing red lights located on the power button of the Xbox 360 indicates that one's Xbox is suffering from general hardware failure.
In this sad event, it only does get worse as IeatdUrcookie did not receive this "Red Ring of Death" until 2 years after he purchased his Xbox 360 Premium Edition. His warranty is expired, resulting in this player having to wait 6 weeks after he ships his broken Xbox 360 to Microsoft Studios or some other location owned by Microsoft where this problem will be resolved.
It is also unfortunate that he has just had his last day of school, the 6 weeks will take up approximately 1/4 of his Summer. This is also resulting in him missing the "Grifball Summer League" a game variant made in Halo 3 in which players are to grab a ball in the center of the field of play and take it to the other team's goal. This "sport" is one of the main reason's IeatUrcookie still plays his Xbox 360.
I shall now let IeatdUrcookie himself come and give some words himself about this ever so unlikely event.
Hey everyone, well, I'm really at a loss of words, I have been with my Xbox for what seems like forever, and now just to have it gone, that fast, it's heartbreaking. I have played many games, unlocked many achievements made many friends, downloaded many picture packs, videos, and other things too, and now they're all gone....
Many of you are probably thinking "Oh it's just six weeks, it's no big deal.", well the thing is that, this one Xbox 360 was special, it has been to many LAN parties where it could hang out and play with it's other Xbox friends, been there for me whenever I felt down, welcomed me home with open arms whenever I got back from school, and just so many great memories we would all be here for hours upon hours if I explained them all.
You might also be thinking about "resurrecting" it with the "towel method", but if I did that it just wouldn't be the same.... Well, there is a whole lot more to say about me and Xbox, but I won't keep you any longer, just be thinking about me and hoping for me to recover for this tragic event. Thank you.
