Microsoft Corp. today announced a new Xbox experience that will reinvent home entertainment from the inside out, changing the way we play games, watch movies and TV shows and become contestants in game shows. Beginning this fall with a bold new look, the new Xbox experience will offer an exclusive partnership with Netflix that will give Xbox 360 users instant access to more than 10,000 feature films and television shows.

Included are new titles for music lovers, such as “Lips†and the exclusive launch of “Rock Band 2â€ÂÂ; family-friendly games from the movie maker “You’re in the Movies†to next-generation game shows such as “1 vs. 100â€ÂÂ; along with exciting new details about this year’s biggest blockbusters like “Gears of War 2†and “Fable 2.â€ÂÂ
Microsoft also announced Xbox LIVE Primetime, a groundbreaking channel on the new Xbox experience, offering new games and entertainment experiences that will be available this fall for Xbox 360. A first-of-its-kind phenomenon, this new generation of interactive game shows lets Xbox LIVE members challenge friends and choose to compete against people from across the globe in real time.
