• Halo 4 Details to be released on February 29th?

    "There's light at the end of the tunnel, Master Chief. Let's hope it's not an oncoming Wraith. Microsoft will reportedly show off Halo 4 properly for the first time at its Spring Showcase in San Francisco on 29th February.

    The news comes via Finnish mag Pelaaja (thanks Gamerzines), which also promises further details in a podcast around the time.

    Till then, you'll have to make do with our sprawling Halo 4 breakdown, which painstakingly examines each and every Halo-related 343 utterance or lore permutation. We spent a long time writing that. Don't everybody hug us at once.

    For god's sake Cortana, tell us something new. Did you know that Todd McFarlane's designing toys based on unseen Halo 4 characters? Now you do. Look out for more on that front in August. In what seems to be a calculated effort to kill our brains with buzzwords, McFarlane says 343 is "pushing the envelope with the visuals, storytelling and gameplay".
    Halo 4 is scribbled in for release late this year."

      Could the Covenant be in Halo 4 ?

      Eh, that's iffy for me...

      It doesn't appear to be Photoshopped, but why is there just a "cut-out" of the toy in the box and not the actual toy? That looks EXACTLY like a Halo Reach hunter too. So I'm VERY skeptical.

      Ahh, so the cut-out is just a placeholder until they get the final figure into production...interesting...

      Still interesting. The ODST boxes say "Halo" while the hunter one clearly says "Halo 4".
