Earlier in the week, news site Wired revealed the partnership between Microsoft and Dark Horse Comics to bring fans the next chapter in the Halo legacy. Dark Horse is currently working on the next mini-series of graphic novels that will revolve around the history of the Spartan IV Program, and specifically, former ODST-turned-Spartan IV Sarah Palmer. Halo: Initiation's inception was brought about from the tremendous amounts of positive feedback players gave on the Halo 4 campaign and Spartan Ops, and the intrigue players had with Palmer and the origins of the Spartan IV Program.

The final chapter in The Tyranny of King Washington, The Redemption, is out today for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. The DLC hits European PS3s tomorrow, and the Wii U on May 16, 2013. In the final protion, we will see Ratonhnhaké:ton amass his rebellion against the forces of King Washington in hopes of bringing down the self-imposed king.

Destiny, Bungie’s upcoming “shared world shooter,” has one definite leg up on the competition, and that’s the fact that everyone is wondering what exactly they plan on bringing to the table. Wonder builds intrigue, intrigue builds anticipation, and anticipation keeps people around until Bungie decides to spoon feeds us the next piece of information gets people wondering again, then the cycle resets. Well I've been wondering, wondering how Bungie is planning on breaking the traditional co-op/MMO mold, wondering about how my character will progress from its creation to the time I’m done with the games main story line. Will I have constructed my character into the badass I want him to be? Will it be a truly unique experience and not the same grind and loot gameplay that I’ve had with tons of other games?
