, Microsoft Xbox Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer Yusuf Mehdi came to the defense of Microsoft's recently announced licensing and used games policy, stating that "This is a big change, consumers don't always love change, and there's a lot of education we have to provide to make sure people understand."
Understanding though is not what the people of the internet are trying to do, but this reaction came as no surprise to Mehdi. In fact, he says the reaction to Microsoft's policy changes was "kind of expected" and says that the confusion is only temporary and would be worth it as gamers and consumers adjust to a console world without discs.
