Just reading back at this & this have been helpful.

I've gave up on ranking in Reach, but gone back to it after playing on a friends account. Gave him a old XBL account cause I had a plan for it but lost interest in it sometime afterwards, but also that he doesn't have the net in his home so I kinda gave him a headstart in a way.

After a few weeks playing on his profile, I've already reached Lt. Colonel which I'm not only surprised but happy about as well. I have to give thanks to 343 in a way, because if they didn't take over the challenges for Reach and create custom challenges from Waypoint, I wouldn't have ranked up that fast. When I get up to the rank of Field Marhshall, then I can buy the armor my friend likes to create his spartan (All black grim reaper style haha).
