Spare Parts Preview

The list of games that have you co-operate with a partner is a short one but the Xbox Arcade title Spare Parts is going to try and fill that void. Spare Parts is about two robots named Mar-T and Chip who make a crash landing on a strange planet and their nemesis, the evil evil Lord Krung, now has the perfect opportunity to finish them off and then Krung can proceed to take over the universe! Mar-T and Chip quickly encounter an A.I named Con-rad, who is voiced by Simon Pegg (Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) and the trio attempt to make their escape.

Together you and a friend, right beside you or over Xbox Live, control Mar-T and Chip as you team up to solve puzzles, evade hazards and fight the minions of the sinister Lord Krung as well the the planet's natural inhabitants while you attempt to make your ship Space-worthy. The duo can also perform a variety of Co-op moves one being the "Synchronized High Five" having Mar-T and Chip give each other a high five and gain a boost to their health. Throughout the planet you will find various action parts giving Mar-T and Chip different additions some of these parts are the Rocket boots, Power Fists and even X-ray Vision. The game can be played solo with the A.I taking over but you won't be able to unlock everything there is in the game or perform most of the Co-op moves.

Spare Parts will be available on January 19th for 800 MSP
