Prepare to add a whole new dimension to the phrase "horror" game as Sega's latest game for Xbox's Kinect is Rise of Nightmares. This will be Kinect's first M rated game shaking off the idea that Kinect is for children's games.
The game has been described as a "first person horror-adventure game" and focuses on the player who will "assume the role of an American tourist who must rescue his wife from a deranged scientist."
However it appears this game will also have a large focus on gore, having been described by the ESRB as a game where "Players use brass knuckles, knives, hatchets, and chainsaws to kill zombie-like creatures and disfigured monsters inside a mansion environment."
And also further saying that "Combat is highlighted by exaggerated sprays of blood, and damage often results in dismemberment or decapitation—stray body parts sometimes litter the ground."
The game will also include more than just horror and gore as it will also have "some female creatures" who "are depicted in revealing outfits" making "suggestive dialogue" and actions. Rise of Nightmares is slated for a 2011 release date, most likely around Summer time.
