What did you accomplish in gaming today?

Inspired by a popular thread over at the Xbox.ca forums. It's pretty self-explanatory. I'm supposed to be writing a paper due in 6 hours, but what the heck! I'll start.

I didn't actually accomplish anything today, but I definitely impressed myself with my stamina and attention span over the weekend, during which I did my first playthrough of Dragon Age 2. 30+ hours straight, no sleep, barely any food, and never once leaving the television except for the occasional bathroom break. Let's just say I was all but drowning in empty 20oz Red Bull cans. It was my first time marathoning an RPG, and, man, was it worth it. Dragon Age 2 might fall under the category of "cheesy fantasy RPG," but...

... and I am obsessed. Rogue class, sided with the mages, friendmanced Fenris, somehow ended up with Merrill as my rival, even though she's a total sweetheart. I don't even know.

I tried starting another playthrough of Mass Effect 2 with Smore, but couldn't handle anymore Bioware after that stint. Anyway, I've started another Dragon Age 2 file (rogue class, side with Templars, rivalmance Fenris, try my best not to be a d-bag to everyone), so there'll be updates on that playthrough as well as the Mass Effect 2 file.

I'll keep the ball rolling with my little update copied and paste from the .ca and some extra.

I've also made SLOW progress towards my Dragon Age Origins story. I don't know why but something about that game now makes me want to stop playing every fifteen minutes. Hell I have the Awakening DLC disk and noticed that I now have "Give this for max relationship points" items that makes me feel kinda cheated and breaks the flow of my relationships with the fake people.

I've also played Silent Hill 3 and I don't know if Silent Hill 2 just did a great job of desensitizing me to fear or if Silent Hill 3 isn't scary. Most of the time the only thing that startled me was a demon dog attempting to satisfy his craving of Heather face while I was busy murdering his buddy Well that and having to go on train tracks to open a door that was locked and being swarmed by a pack of hungry dogs. Hell, ever since I picked up the Katana I have been looking at the game at whole new light

I've also started another Mass Effect 2 run through. Fortunately I'm very happy with my Mass Effect run through that I won't be playing through that again. Toss in the fact I still need to finish my KoToR run through and subsequently have to start and beat another KoToR2 run through it's safe to say that Bioware has set up a vacation resort on my free time. Don't worry though! Silent Hill 3 and Silent Hill 4 are still in the works so at least I have some variety. I also have a Kingdom Hearts craving that I want to fill but I need to wait for my sister to give that to me.

Yeah I'm not going to be doing too much shooting in the near future.

But wait! There is more!
After finally cleaning my room I was finally able to get the dust off, among other things, my Kinect and played a few rounds of Kinect Adventures. Not gonna lie I felt like doing some sit-ups during the loading screens I just really wanted to flail about and move. I still have to work on my Bioware overload and Beat Silent Hill 3 and now just to really add to the list I got Kingdom Hearts 1 back with 2 hiding somewhere and Dark Cloud 1 + 2.

I beat Portal 2. Ummmmmm. That's about it.

On Monday: Rank up to Brigadier in Reach (Colonel Grade 3 took forever). Also downloaded Snoopy Flying Ace but yet to play it.

Finally got the 'Ectasy Of Gold' achievement in BFBC2:Vietnam - Get gold stars on all primary Vietnam weapons.

WHEW that was a lot of work! 12 weapons in total for over 1200 kills!

Now all I need is to get 50 kills with the UH-1 then BFBC2 will be complete! Yay!

I played more Silent Hill 3 before passing out and not only that but I played it solo. No really, I did.

Oh my God this..... I cannot keep the momentum going past the origins story for the mage so I can make an Arcane Warrior. (and I need to beat it again before I play DA2...... sad).

That, and I finished the B & W version of JOR today. I need to find the time to color and upload it (That counts as game related, right?). I will probably do that tonight as long as work doesn't kill me. I also need to order Portal 2.

That is the issue; the origin story is always fun and new for me. The origin story I played the most is the human noble and that was only three times. Everything past the origin story is copy and paste of my other playthroughs.

I can't agree more,And I keep hitting myself,I wanna do something else but I have playthrough all planned out and it always turns out similar.
