I guess I've been playing Team Fortress 2 a bit too much. No wait, actually there's a spy running around RUL as we speak. Shoot! He took my undisclosed information. Wait.. no don't!

Ze Spy is running ze show now. I have to reveal zis to you my fellow Greens. Ze Rebel had not intended to show you zis. Ze Point system is nearly complete. Soon ze points will be making a return to ze site.

Ha! I'm back. He didn't tell you anything before I killed him did he?

Hello to all of you RULers reading this! KillerOfCereal here again to keeping all of you awake this Friday night! >=D (or rather greet you this Saturday morning -Ed)

I’m going to let you all in on a little secret! ReadyUpLive……is getting a new Points System! Ohh, ‘Ze Spy’ leaked that already? Well, it’s true! Beat to the punch again.

Rebel Rouser and Greenskull have been working behind the scenes on it for quite some time. Rebel announced it a while back in one of the other RUL FU and now it’s finally about to release! You guys have something to look forward to in the upcoming week.

In other news, the RUL Arcade ‘derped’ and wasn’t recording people’s records. Our CEO, Rebel Rouser, did all his best to save it and succeeded, but we lost all highscores that were there at the time. So now is your chance to take the top of the leaderboards before our Arcade Gurus come and strip you of the title. You know who you are! (The gurus already took the titles, but you can still challenge em. -Ed)

I wanted to give you all who participated in our 4th Official Weekly Discussion Topic on Religion a shoutout. You guys really handled that discussion very well; especially since every time we’ve tried to discuss it, it always went downhill and ended up being locked and people being banned. So a round of applause to all you!

This ends my part on this week’s update, and I will bid all of you a goodbye until next time!

Wait.. Killer beat me to the punch on saying it's launching within the next week!? Well between that and "Ze Spy" there goes the show! Goodnight folks!

Actually... I might have some lovely details to share.

The RUL Plaza & Points will be making their glorious return in the very near future. The Plaza will be offering all sorts of fun things. Like what you might ask? How about being able to buy a fancy coloured user title? Or the ability to guest host an RUL Night with one of your favourite Staff members? Do neither of those appeal to you? Well how about the long forgotten, but very popular gift system! Has someone done something super awesome for you that you can't ignore?, or maybe that someone is just an awesome friend, either way you'll be able to gift them little icons like trophies, medals, basketballs and more!

Points will be easy, but not too easy to get. Those who are premium members, VIP, or staff members will have a major advantage with gaining points. You'll be getting a weekly paycheque to supplement the points you get from doing your daily RUL activities.

That's about all I have to say about that for the time being. Thank goodness I dealt with "Ze Spy" when I did. He might have just leaked some information I wasn't ready for! You can expect an even more detailed rundown of the points system in next weeks Friday update.

As some of you may have noticed our awards page is down (http://www.readyuplive.com/awards.php) Unfortunately we haven't been able to pinpoint the exact cause of this yet.The awards system works in full besides the page. Unfortunately the meaning of the awards is lost without the page. We may have to fully re-install the awards system. (If we do you may be receiving a heck of a lot of PM's

). Yes, I promise you that if anything does happen that could cause the loss of the rewards, that we will do our best to ensure you get your awards back. I'll fill you guys in once we come with a conclusion.

Now a message from our Social Media Coordinator, Avcracy.

As some of you have noticed, the RUL twitter has gone up in activity over the past week due to some new idea I've come up with! Question of the Afternoon and Evening! Because RUL is meant to represent all of us, I'm recruiting you, the RULers, to help me come up with some clever questions to give to the Twitter community. Just shoot me some ideas in a PM!

What a wonderful idea it is. These questions actively engage the Halo twitter community. On top of Av's request I'd like to ask if you guys could try to respond back to these questions! replying to them is a great, and easy way to help the community grow!

Do we have more in store for you? Oh Yes.... Yes we do. But! I'm going to be a huge tease and save an exciting announcement for next week.

To end off I'll be bringing a new Friday Update feature. Pro-tip of the week, the pro-tips will just be a tidbit of knowledge to help you learn a neat tip/trick you may not have known of. They will generally be RUL related unless I find something quite amazing.

This week's protip is a nice simple one. I'll be explaining how to reduce the number of emails sent to you by Ready Up Live. Add us to your spam folder! Only kidding! Seriously don't! You might miss out on something important. To reduce the number of emails RUL sends out about new thread responses you can go into your User Control Panel and click general settings. In there you will find the subheading "Default Thread Subscription Mode" On the right of it you'll find a box that allows you to choose weekly email updates, daily email updates, instant email updates, Sub via CP only, or don't Sub. I highly recommend not to choose don't Sub, as it gets rid of the useful tool of being able to see responses to threads you've posted in inside of your Control Panel. Select to preference. Now you know how to either, increase or decrease the amount of thread related emails from RUL. Enjoy!

Before I bid farewell from this weeks Friday Update, a paragraph of my thoughts.

I was reflecting on my time here and came up with a few words. We're a growing community, a diverse community, one of many opinions and beliefs. I have to commend you all for being such an accepting community, a friendly community, one which represents just how amazing a forum community can be. I am proud to call myself a RULer, I am proud to get to interact with such an amazing group of people on a daily bases, I am proud to work for this site, and I am proud to call it my internet home. Often I have worries with how things may go (Such as the religion discussion), but you all prove to me why I feel the way I do about RUL. Just remember that each and everyone of you is awesome, and that you make RUL the amazing place it is.
