Piratebay will never be shut down because it isn't going against the law haha torrenting is completely legal ;P Its not piracy if you taking bits and pieces from thousands of the same program/file and putting them together to make the full thing, not piracy at all hahahaha

I can't tell if you are being sarcastic or serious. Government, those who decided what is legal and what is illegal, can change their mind at anytime. What is "legal" now may very well be illegal later. Especially for loop-holes that exist in certain laws. The 13 million who signed the petition the other day are fighting a good fight, but the war on the very foundation of the internet continues.

Or, you could have just said the simple version by saying that TPB takes all measures to make sure it doesn't have a single server in the United States. If that were the case, TPB would have been shut down a long time ago. Also, making those files come together (using various resources) is also piracy. You're still getting it illegally, you're still stealing (usually, depending on what it is). Piracy is the definition. (usually.)
